Challenge
A regulated field operation with thousands of sites across a wide geography needed to manage risk consistently — but each region was running its own spreadsheet, with its own scoring, on its own cadence. Audit findings lived in a separate system from the operational data, which meant risk officers couldn't see whether high-risk sites were actually being audited.
Approach
I built a unified risk and audit platform around a standard likelihood-by-impact risk matrix and a per-site profile drill-through that combines audits, operational data, asset registry, and fuel data quality on one page. An aggregated risk view rolls site scores up to region for executive reporting. Data-quality flags surface in-line on the risk page so officers can see when a high score is driven by missing data rather than real risk.
Outcome
Risk reviews now use a single, organization-wide score, and audits are prioritized by the same data the score is built on. The platform was later extended with a v6 iteration that added agriculture-app-specific profiles and finer-grained fuel data-quality controls.
